Starr Music Academy Students Shine at TMTA World of Music Test

Starr Music Academy is proud to announce that seven of our talented students have earned medals in the prestigious Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA) World of Music Test. This annual event tests students' knowledge and understanding of music history, theory, and literature, and is a highly respected competition in the music education community.

The following students demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, earning medals for their outstanding performance:

• James Gonzalez
• Sophia Hernandez
• Lyzzette Hinojosa
• Chaniel Santiago
• Dasha Santiago

Chaniel also received a Division Award for earning medals in Levels 7, 8, and 9 of the test.

The TMTA World of Music Test covers a comprehensive range of topics including composers, musical periods, terminology, and forms. It is designed to challenge students and enhance their appreciation and understanding of music as an art form.
