Five Starr Music Academy Students Shine at MVMTA Spring Recital

McAllen, TX, April 21, 2024 — Five talented students from Starr Music Academy showcased their musical prowess and dedication at the recent MVMTA (Magic Valley Music Teachers Association) Spring Recital, held at Valley Keyboards. The event, which took place on April 21, celebrated the achievements of young musicians across the region.

Among the standout performers were:

• Lyzzette Hinojosa: Sarabande in G minor (Bohm), violin
• Paris Millan: Marmotte Op. 52, No. 7 (Beethoven/Goethe), voice
• Arora Cantu: Nocturne in B-flat minor, Op. 9, No. 1 (Chopin), piano
• Mariely Lopez: Red River Valley (arr. Donkin), voice
• James Gonzalez: Minuet in G (Beethoven), viola
