McAllen, Texas – February 18, 2024 – Emma Grace Escobar, a talented musician from Rio Grande City, Texas, has achieved a remarkable milestone by advancing to the state final round of the prestigious Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA) Voice Performance Contest.

Emma has demonstrated exceptional dedication, passion, and talent in vocal performance under the tutelage of her choir teachers, Mrs. Alicia Peña and Mr. Miguel Martinez, at Roma High School. She was accompanied and coached by Dr. Adrian Guerra and is an intern at Starr Music Academy, where she prepared for the contest under the guidance of Mrs. Corine Maldonado, NCTM. Emma's journey through the competition has been a testament to her hard work and unwavering commitment to excellence.

The TMTA Performance Contest, known for its rigorous selection process and high standards, attracts some of the most promising vocal talents statewide. Emma's advancement to the semi-final round is a testament to her outstanding vocal abilities and the effectiveness of her practice.
