Starr Music Academy Students Selected for MVMTA Ensemble Teams

Five Starr Music Academy piano students were selected to the 2020 Magic Valley Music Teachers Association (MVMTA) Ensemble teams.
Laurel Cantu, Emma Escobar, Leslie Favela, Faith Garza, and Alexia Ramirez were selected as some of the top pianists in the Rio Grande Valley and will perform the the MVMTA Ensemble teams at the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA) State Convention in Houston in June. In addition to passing the ensemble audition, the students were required to pass the TMTA Theory Test in order to be selected.
Starr Music Academy is under the direction of Mrs. Corine Garcia Maldonado.
